Time doesn't pass here; it rests.
Stone is not decor; it is presence.
Rooms don't talk; they protect.
Courtyards don't welcome; they belong.
The shade of the fig tree is unchanging.
The loudest sound is the wind, as it changes its course.
Nucci is a Masseria.
MASSERIA NUCCI
Born around a Byzantine-Norman watchtower, Masseria Nucci is a place where the past lives on in every stone, immersed in the wild beauty of the Salento countryside. Since the 15th century, this fortified masseria has been a strategic point for defending the territory. Protected by a stone wall, the masseria housed livestock, cheese production facilities, and vast expanses of olive groves and vineyards, which have fueled its history and identity.
Today, Masseria Nucci welcomes guests to the charm of a bygone era without forgoing modern comforts. Its structure is spread across three main buildings, each with unique features:
-
La Torre: Features three superior rooms with private bathrooms.
-
Il Contadino: An apartment with a double bedroom, a sofa bed, a small bedroom, a kitchen, and a furnished outdoor patio.
-
Il Custode: A cozy solution with a double bed, a pull-out armchair, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom.
An Oasis of Peace Between the Sea and the Countryside
The well-equipped garden, complete with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a jacuzzi available upon request, offers an ideal space for relaxation, nestled among centuries-old olive trees. But the true jewel of Masseria Nucci is its Torre Colombaia, an imposing 16th-century structure, unique in its beauty and size, which overlooks the threshing floor, testifying to its prestigious past.
Strategically located, the masseria allows you to explore the wonders of authentic Salento: the golden beaches of Porto Cesareo, Gallipoli, and Sant'Isidoro, the pristine greenery of the Porto Selvaggio Nature Park, and the baroque elegance of Lecce.

Here, you can immerse yourself in rural life, discovering the production of olive oil and wine, taking part in sailboat excursions, or simply enjoying the sunset amid the scents of the countryside. Every detail has been carefully preserved to offer guests a stay that combines history, nature, and authenticity.
